I like Pursuit of Justice.

Honestly the best 2 points ever ever wasted.

Got to 2/2 at same time I hit 77. Epic flying (first time I ever had it on any toon) and ret running. Made the game 200% more enjoyable.

Remeber it's only 50g to respec at most. No harm speccing for fun until you are put into nax.

Also I am at 2/2 Imp judgement to make my cycle much smoother 86868. No more 1 second lag on judgement. Feels so much better, I was at 1/2 for a long time and it just doesen't feel smooth.

I may not understand 96969. But 5 abilities on 1.5 GC is 7.5 seconds. Factoring in at least 100 ms lag on each command it works out to a perfect 8 seconds. The 8 second abilities become ready just as needed. No more lagging on judgement to become ready.

Im probly doing it wrong as usualy when it seems everyone but me is wrong i find out i am infact wrong. But all the testing in the world seems to confirm it takes 2/2 imp judgement to keep up a smooth 5 skill 86868 cycle.

Where at 1/2 I would have to wait exactly 1 second for judgement to become ready and by the time it was the whole cycle is delayed one second.

I assume it lies somewhere in that this would work just as well as 88888. So I am kind of wasting the shortness of the 6 second cooldowns. But no matter how i mixed it up at 1/2 I couldent make a smooth cycle. I think mabey we are saposed to have a gap in our cycle for other skills? But then i remeber reading threads like if I were to drop a skill form 96969 on undead to do exorcism, what skill would I drop? Makes it sound like it should work smoothly.

Anyways I feel kinda retated about this as I have read like 3-4 threads and even read the second by second play down of how its saposed to work... but it just doesent seem to work like that for me.

So whats the deal?

Ah but 86868 loses threat due to cooldown conflicts. With the 96969 rotation you never lose more than a second on refreshing an ability while you'll spend a lot more on the 86868. Additionally the extra second and a half is perfect for resealing, Using sacred sheild, using AS or throwing out a hand spell.

You're not using an 86868 rotation... That's just not possibly. You're using an 88888 waste .5 second rotation, whereby you use the most efficient abilities (ShoR and HotR) only once per 8 seconds instead of once per six seconds.

Rotation VS a boss:

-3.00 Holy Shield (9 sec)
-1.50 Avenger's Shield (pull)

0.00 Judgement (9 sec)
1.50 Shield of Righteousness (6 sec)
3.00 Consecration (9 sec)
4.50 Hammer of the Righteous (6 sec)
6.00 Holy Shield (9 sec)
7.50 Shield of Righteousness (6 sec)
9.00 Judgement (9 sec)
10.50 Hammer of the Righteous (6 sec)
12.00 Consecration (9 sec)
13.50 Shield of Righteousness (6 sec)
15.00 Holy Shield (9 sec)
16.50 Hammer of the Righteous (6 sec)

18.00 Repeat from 0.00.

If you need to cast other spells, drop a Consecration in favor of the other spell. If you're running low on mana, drop Consecration altogether, as it's your least mana efficient ability against a single mob.

If you're tanking a lot of mobs, it's better to switch Consecration and Jugement, as well as HotR and ShoR around. You also might want to drop the single target spells (Judgement/ShoR) if you need to cast something else and not Consecration.

You always keep the GCD up, and every 18 seconds you pop ShoR and HotR three times. With your 88888 rotation, you pop them only twice in 16 seconds, meaning you're wasting threat.

What Thels said, except for one thing. It's Shield of Righteousness, not Shield of the Righteous.

Eh think PoJ is nice but there is better you can do.

Currently in sort of a screwed up spec (messed up when respeccing and been too lazy to fix it) however going to 5/60/6 tonight.

Anub? simple, get a hunter with aspect up and run the outer ring like was done in classic or just run quick and move asap. I don't think 12 points for the first boss in Spiderwing is a good call Very Happy

I too love PoJ a lot!

I also use 2/2 improved judgment, I really don't ever use consecration in my threat rotation anymore.

Faster judgements = more uptime for the block value libram and bigger shield slam hits.

Note that if your "86868" rotation is coming out smoothly (ie: you're alternating between an 8-second cooldown and a 6-second cooldown every GCD), then you're actually doing a 96969 rotation.

The numbers in the name don't refer to the time you spend between casting, it just refers to the time it takes you to cast the next one. You cast a 6-second cooldown ability every 6 seconds, and an 8-second cooldown ability every 9 seconds. 969.

Thank you so much for explaining that Thels. I got it to work in practice now. Excellent!
