Serious and important question

Re: Serious and important question

Gnome wins points for it being one of the lesser played races

Dranny wins points for being awesome, and then gains or loses depending on if you like shoes or hooves.

You can play Humans in CoT. Be something different.

People still go to CoT O.o

Go gnome :)

Re: Serious and important question

PvE: Dranei, for xexy and 1% hit to 5 people and pets being wildly wildly better than expertise for one person with a set of weapons that may or may not be BiS.

Wasting time: I've never been one to grind reps (especially on alts...), so that doesn't seem relevant, but maybe if you like grinding reps you might prefer diplomacy

PvP: probably human for trinket or gnome for EA

Answer: Dranei

Although you picked a crappy hair+horn combo, fix that please.

Re: Serious and important question

I'm tbh atm debating with self about the spec...

My 80 DK is frost dual wielding. By the time this one hits 80 there'll be 3.1 so totally different specs anyway. I'm going blood dual wield (yes yes waste of spec, but i like the look) or maybe 2h to try this survivabilty everyone talks about...

Human.

Racial is amazing for PvE and PvP.

Re: Serious and important question

I vote for Draenei.

Name it a DeadColin or DarkColin, just for the funnays.

Re: Serious and important question

Diplomacy is one of the most powerful racials in the entire game.

You can get additional +hit, +expertise or +HP from gear. However, there's no equipment that gives a +10% rep bonus.

On the other hand, once your rep is maxed out, that 10% bonus is worthless.

Re: Serious and important question

Female Dwarf if you don't care about racial abilities.

If you do, then Human for diplomacy.

If you roll gnome please call it Kickthebaby.

That is all.

Don't forget the stoneform !
And 5 expertise with maces ! (okay for that you'd need to find a tanking mace)

Yeah I didn't explain that very well. I meant to say,

if you are not worried about having the 'best' racial abilities then play a female dwarf, with ponytails, because they look awesome.

Thanks for the heads up. Isn't there a tanking mace in Ulduar as well?

Re: Serious and important question

Deathknight, remember. Titansteel Destroyer from entry level to the Inevitable Defeat as BiS for tanking.

Re: Serious and important question

Gnomes FTW.

Don't listen to these human and elf giants and their "logic" about racials or rep grinds. The simple fact remains, gnomes are the best race in the game. You can't go wrong with a cute little female gnome running up to the gigantic boss and beating it in the shins and holding threat for the entire group/raid.

Re: Serious and important question

Human for the slight expertise bonus with sword or mace, rep bonus, and your built in PvP trinket.

Sons of Hodir rep grind for your shoulder enchant should give you enough of a reason to go human.

Although I made my DK a draenei because their laugh is freaking hilarious and scary at the same time. Doh!

Female Dorf ftw. Give it Princess Leia hair.

Re: Serious and important question

I fail to see the relevance of faster rep gains, the benefit is over as soon as you reach the rep levels you want(which is not hard in the first place).

Boobies and a tail last forever, on the other hand.

Think of all the amazing things you can do with a tail.

Yeah. And that once again pops in my mind the ideas azazel had about the tail.

I voted female human before I saw the characters you'd created for them. My vote is now solidly with the draenei.

When does a Death Knight have enough horns? That's right, never. Draenei.
