Overrated and Underrated Movies

Extremely overrated: Braveheart. That movie should have been 45 minutes instead of 3 fucking hours.

Overrated:

Titanic was painful. It made a record amount of cake and I just don't understand why... it was a total shit show. Boobs, sure, but the internet has them in spades.

The Star Wars Prequels... I wanted so bad for them to be good. I tried to convince myself they were good. They're not. Wooden acting and perplexing unrealistic dialogue took all the shine away from the special effects. These movies never should have been made. Darth Vader was much better as a mysterious galactic villian rather than a sniveling punk who didn't get everything he wanted.

Dances With Wolves: I don't know what it is, but my brother and I are the only two people who find this movie laughable. Maybe we're wrong and this movie deserves all the positive hype it got, but if you look at Kevin Costner's resume' after this flick you start to see a trend... a real shitty downward one.

WAY Overrated: Top Gun. srsly, it's become more of a cliche' than a movie.

Underrated movies: We were Soldiers, Dumb and Dumber(nothing like a good ol stupid comedy).

While were on this topic, something that peeves me is overused songs. You know, songs that would have been good if they hadn't been pounded into our heads by the media, on every radio station 20 times a day,in every movie trailer, in every fucking kfc commercial.

I have to disagree with you on those two songs, whenever Sweet Home Alabama comes on you had better believe that everyone around you will start belting, it's a party song.

Don't get me wrong, those songs are great. After all, Enter Sandman was the first riff I learned on guitar. What I'm saying is that, well for me anyways, the overpopularity/overuse of these songs is what has ruined them for me.
