It'd still be "clear non-mystic" for Tier 1, but after that the guilds capable of trying mystic in week 1 will be able to.

I disagree, feels like too big an advantage for the races.

Exciting! Let's move Dwarf and Gnome into sub-race of Human!

Re: Warlords of Draenor

This is interesting, from MMO-Champ's panel recap:
The final boss of this expansion won't just be an Orc.

I've been wondering where they could go with bosses and things. I mean, for one, the Orcs haven't drank the blood of Mannoroth, but the Legion is still going to be around trying to get influence. Gul'dan is still going to be there. So we may have Legion enemies.

Interesting thought, though: What Burning Legion characters who died in history could now be returned to the story via the alternate timeline?

Will Gruul be alive on this Draenor? (Suppose it would be hard to explain why he was level 100+ 30 years ago, then got weaker.) We might see Terokk, too. (I wonder what these new winged Arakkoa look like.)

But at least most of the other characters from BC came to Outland after the shattering, so not much room for rehashing.

Re: Warlords of Draenor

I love the Arakkoa, hope we get to see more of them. And Terokk would certainly be interesting! Feels like things from the far back of the lore-loft, where all the most dusty but also most interesting boxes are stored!

Still carry my Arakkoa vanity trinket with me!

Re: Warlords of Draenor

Gul'dan has to fit into raiding somewhere. They say "not just an orc" - is the final raid an attack on the shadow council who manages to summon some Legion beastie like Archimonde or Mannoroth?

My bet is into a portal to Narnia.

As Wordlie said, that would make no sense, since humans are mutant offspring, while dwarfs are an original race from the Titans.. (dunno how gnomes came to be...)

Would love to go Frost dwarf. Still carry that trinket.
Gnomes are the result of dwarfs standing too close to iron smelters without their lead lined underwear on.
Re: Warlords of Draenor

gnomes were created through the same process as the dwarves in that they were created by the titans, or titan watchers, and succumbed to the curse of flesh

humans are the runty offspring of Vry'kul

he is a watcher, and is who created the mechagnomes
he is not a mechagnome himself technically (though arguments can be made both ways)

What I meant is that they have a similar titanic origin as dwarves.

Seriously, guys.

Dwarves are stunted hirsute humans.

Gnomes are bear bait.

When has a raid not won the world first race without clearing the previous tier before the patch dropped? They wouldn't be able to jump into first tier Mystic on week 1.

Does Mythic share a lockout with "heroic" and "normal"?

Oh so the legion will show up..

Well I hope we won't have to kill all those awesome orc lore figures...except for Gul'Dan.

I mean seriously that guy needs his head on a chopping block.

Re: Warlords of Draenor

Totally disagree - a vicious backstabbing vilain is something the wow Universe sorely lacks since Deathwing went sniffing Elementium and went all "imadragonhearmeroar!" instead of the schemer from W2.

Gul'dan could be everything Illidan couldn't have been as a lieutenant for the Legion - zero self-pity, ego the size of the Dark Portal and just enough saviness to back it all up. Also, let's not forget the ham. Lots and lots of ham.

Re: Warlords of Draenor

This may be an odd thing to say, but: Was anyone else strangely disappointed when the example female Dwarf model they showed didn't have hairy arms and legs like the new male Dwarf? It just seems like they would.

(The new Dwarf male model really just looks excellent. It's going to be hard to resist signing up again for this expansion.)

What, you want Tolkien-style female dwarves? :P
