AQ Bug Mount - Scarab Lord Title - Disappointing Update

I've done a lot of research on the subject. April 15 is the date that transfers will be allowed there (90 days from server launch). Conventional wisdom was that the AQ War Effort is autocompleted after three months, which will also be around April 15. Grizzly Hills (the last server with closed gates) bugged, and Drakkari (the one before that) autocompleted after two months, but also very close to the launch of 3.0.2, when there were bugs anyway. The gates were even opened on Drakkari by 3.0.2 and had to be reclosed by GMs, so it's hardly reasonable to assume that what happened on Drakkari is normal.

So, basically, we're hoping that the autocomplete on the War Effort happens 3 months after it begins (which is conventional wisdom). After the War Effort, there is a five day waiting period while the Horde and Alliance armies travel to Silithus. This is when we would transfer there. Transferring usually takes only 45 minutes (in my experience), but can, according to the FAQ, take up to five days, so this allows for a buffer.

Yeah, there will probably be new content around April 15, but this is the last shot, period. After this, the Black Qiraji Battle Tank will no longer be available.

I rolled on Cairne when it started. Few things to note.

Gates were closed.

Server did not allow transfers to it for 6 months after the server started.

(above you said 90 days but cairne was 6 months)

When "one" toon did transfer in a few weeks into it, by accident through some bug with the transfer system, it was a huge deal and people basicly freaked out and they sent him back a couple days after.

The AQ gates, after a maintance, were opened by some "bug" then fixed shortly after in a 15 minuit restart, this also made some people shit their pants.

At some point after I sold that account a few months in I suspect, before any transfers were allowed, the gates were opened and a bunch of fanboys peed them selves in spasmatic glee as they got their titles and mounts.

As far as I remeber, gates being closed was 50% of the reason people rolled on that server.

well, if you've completed the quest already, and transfers do open on the 15th, it's pretty easy to check whether the gates are open or close to opening or not - although the mass of people that would try to transfer that day would possibly make the transfer take longer than the usual half hour, and leave you stuck on the server for no reason for a month.

I just went checking: the page is basically outdated.

There is one realm only i found with war effort in progress and it's the new server Saurfang: it's probably the last one for it.

No way for me to get Scarab Lord sadly since Ulduar will come out either by the time the transfer open or soon after.

Well, from looking at the realm forums for BT, it looks like the auto complete might finish well before transfers are allowed. Can anyone who knows a bit more about it check? I've been working on my scepter, but it seems kinda pointless if this is true.

Now I've also heard that they changed it from the first person to hit gong to anyone who hits the gong within X hours of the first person who hits it can get the title and/or mount

can someone confirm that? cause if so... we ladies and gentalmen have a goal.
