Leveling after the cap increase

Just had some general questions for those of you who leveled to after being capped at 60 pre-BC-

1) Do you start at 0 xp into the next level, or does it remember how much xp spilled over from when you last dinged?

2) Do you get a maxed out rested bar for all your time spent in inns while level capped?

Just curious.

Chances are your last quest on hitting 70 will have left you with a small amount of XP towards 71.

1. I believe you do start at 0 or what ever you went over on your last quest/kill to get to 70

I can confirm that rested doesn´t count when they increase the levelcap. i also belive, I´m 99% sure that it remember the xp spilled over.

No it don't spill over but you can collect up daily quests and the like and turn em in when you have wotlk hit for some extra xp.

I think they will be plenty of new quest in the new zone and the dailies won't give as much XP...

Differently from the TBC, you don't get any rested from pre-wotlk.

Dailies give you no exp.

New locations have such absurd amount of quests that you might ding 75 and still have done half of the places until that level.

The exp gap isn't much wide, there's like less than 200k exp difference between 70-71 and 71-72 for example.

It CAN'T remember spilled exp. If it did, people like me or pretty much any raider that has more than 20 days on lvl 70 /played would instantly ding 80

I don't think that's what he meant by spilled xp. People at max level don't get xp whatsoever. But say you need 5k xp untill next level at lvl 69, you complete a quest that gives you 11k, you should have 6k into the next level, since you technically still got the full amount.
