Answer for "My guild is making go Holy"

A consistent post on both the MainTankadin Forums and the WoW Paladin Forums are Protection Paladins posting about how their guild, sometimes rather forcibly, asks them to spec Holy, or won't let them Tank.

What I never realized was that non Marksman Hunters can face these same issues, too. In a recent post BRK answered an email from a Hunter whose guild was trying to force him to respec out of his chosen Beast Mastery spec and into Marksman.

It's very applicable to Prot Paladins as well.

Subtlety rogues don't get much love in the raid scene either. Combat or bust, baby. Maybe Mutilate if you only have slow daggers and can make it work...

My response to them would be go recruit more healers. I do have some healing gear for when it's needed in a pinch but I'm not going to go spec holy. If you need more healers then get more healers, don't make tanks heal.

True that could well happen, but an agreement with a timeline and re assessment at x date helps to sort this out a bit and no priests in months, i think the recruitment department needs a kick

The point of recruiting like some ppl think is not an easy task that happens over night, a few weeks is the norm.
