You do realise the DPS can zone in and run back to you, right? The main problem with this is that he may whirlwind and then pick one of those running in as his random target. As the target is outside the gauntlet event perimeter, he'll start evading and go back to full health.

Yes, it happened to me.

But having said that, if your DPS is going to die at 90%, you really have nothing to lose by telling them to run back and help down the boss faster.

Armor is a decent stat but not amusing.

There has been -one- fight in the game where stacking armor was a great way to go, and that was Brutallus.

Leave armor to Druids and DK. It's a ok trinket, but a stam or avodance trinket will be -way- better.

Ya, I know they can run back. I honestly didn't think we were going to be able to actually do it, but in reality if they weren't smart enough to get out of the way the first time, they probably won't the second time. At that point they become a liability more than an asset, as the priest will end up wasting mana on them trying to help keep them up, etc. At least if they are dead they can't bug the encounter =p

That, and a little epeen + 1 never hurts. Laughing

Defender's Code is the only effective health trinket other than the essence of gossamer that's non-profession related. So when would I ever actually use it? Are there any fights in the game right now where the effective health benefit of the Code is enough to replace something like the valor medal?

That 850 armor is about a 2% damage reduction. Not huge but comparable to a 2% avoidance trinket (before diminishing returns.)

Its also the best avoidance clicky I think?

I'm contemplating using this with Essence of Goassamer for EH with avoidance clicky. It will also be good against any bosses who stun, since armour will save you then while avoidance won't.
