4 horsemen lvl 80 douable with 2 paladin tanks?

is 4horse men encounter doable with 2 paladin tanks with no other taunt mechanic on another class in raid?

Yeah it's doable.

1) Taunt and hope you overthreat your target in time.
2) Have a dpser taunt then taunt off it.



Yes, it's full of fail, but it works.

Yeah, it's like having a dream that everyone hates you, but then realizing wow seriously everyone really does hate you.

You'll just want to make sure the two tanks rotate taunts. Since taunting automatically bumps your threat up, if the same tank taunts over and over the other one will have a hard time catching up.

I've done alot of Naxx pre-TBC, but I never got to experience any of the 4H. How long does it take to get the stacks to build before you HAVE to taunt the other horse?

Would it be possible - using only two Paladin tanks (and no other dps with taunt mechanics) that you could use a Misdirection or the new rogue ability on rotation to assist?

Ask Mr. GD how to do it since he says all classes are interchangeable?

And don't forget that there is a slight chance our taunt gets resisted and then it's gg while other classes have some kind of a backup.

Does divine shield remove the 4h debuff by any chance? I doubt it, but figured it'd be worth asking.

1. get a soul stone
2. DI someone
3. Have secondary threat (Tank C) on your target run really far away
4. Resurrect
5. taunt off tank B
6. Tank B taunts off Tank C.

...yeap. Feasibly Tank B is 40 yards from you, and Tank C is 40 yards from tank B. This gives you 80 yards' time to pull off 3-6, or ~6 seconds.

Not that this isn't an incredibly stupid way to go about it compared to "get a warrior/druid/DK with single-taunt"

Mocking Blow/Challenging Shout don't really solve the problem, as they don't give you any threat and the 6-sec duration will still expire before the Taunt CD expires, meaning you could lose aggro again.

A much more severe problem for Paladin tanks in Naxx is Gothik. Half your raid is in one room and half is in the other. When Gothik switches rooms, he still has aggro on the previous tank in the other room, and since you can't target that tank in the other room, you can't taunt off him. This results in him just running back to the previous room and leaving half your raid unable to DPS him at all.

A raid with 2 prot paladins and 0 warriors - dk - hunters - druids - other paladins is quite unlikely to happen, altho it can happen.
