Gear Check/Advice Thread (All Specific Advice Requests Here)

I just respeced my Paladin alt who had been holy since level 60. His tanking gear is basically awful, but he's been able to tank normal 5-mans succesfully so far, and it's been a lot more fun tanking on a paladin than healing on one.

I'd like to get him into heroics so I'd be interested to hear which specific upgrades and enchants you would use to get there. Also, how much of the other avoidance stats do I need?

My server will have the new alchemist stone recipes in about a week, so I will reach ~480 defense with the new prot stone. I understand that my other trinket is junk, I just don't have anything better right now (though probably even a spell damage trinket would be more useful).

I also have several items that need enchanting. Am I correct that 480 defense is uncrittable for all heroics? If so, then I'll be enchanting for stamina and avoidance, and just let the defense be handled by the new trinket.

I've been trying to get Devilshark Cape as well as the SL and SH trinkets, but so far no luck.

this is my .01% crushable set with kings. not shown are my violet signet and crafted belt of guardian. i've only OT'd all of kara, could i move onto other content such as gruuls or mag etc?

i know i could use a +SD enchant on weap

(yes the wrists need +12 stamina, waiting on deciding what to do with legs before investing in the +40 sta patch)

I'm having zero luck with Kara (cleared it yesterday again after reset and no tanky drops.)

So I guess my question is which piece of badge gear should I buy next?

Ive only recently reached this level of gear, and now Im a lil stumped on what to look for next. How much SD should I try to get for MH? I've got about 420/458 unbuffed (depending on which gear mix I use, 420 has more avoidance while 458 has 3%less, both uncrushable and uncritable)

Im trying to look for ways to increase my Stamina too but at my current SD, should I prioritize Stamina now?

Main question is when will I be ready for ZA? Our main Pally tank isn't always on and I don't want to come into a ZA with my guild and have it go really bad. I just hit 70 bout a week ago so 2 full Kara runs and I got tier4 helm curator pants chess boots and maiden gloves plus I just bought stotic guardian chest with badges. 106% Avoidance with holyshield according to macro 510Defense only 13.5 Selfbuffed getting Darkmoon Card: Vengeance when the faire comes so that will putme at 14k if trinket ever drops from Heroic MgT 14.5. Trying to figure out where to get next was going to get Bracers of Green fortress made but I know as soon as I do Attumen will drop his..... As for badges where do I go next? was thinking of spending 30 on 2 Vortex's and having Belt of the Guardian made rather then spending 60 on Protector or save them for something else?

Edit: Yes my shoulders are laughable Spaulders of the Righteous won't drop after 8 Bot runs and Fanblade from Heroic Crypts won't either......... dunno any other option -_-.
