Trying to break through to the "next level".

Hello,

Yes this is another "rate my gear" thread - but I think if anywhere in the entire internets, this is the place to post such a thread.

I'm currently the Main Tank for the small, but very friendly and decently casual guild I am in.

We're really at the cusp where we're trying to break through to heroics and Karazahn. And blah - trying to figure out how to fill my avoidance gap to uncrushability.

I think my gear is "not bad" considering I have yet to do a heroic difficulty instance (but soon, dammit!). But I'm wondering if I'm not gearing up entirely optimally.

Could I be doing my gems better, or are there equivalent pieces out there I should try to get/replace?

I think the only thing I'm still actively hunting for right now is devil shark cape and one more tanking trinket.

Though maybe not in the best diplomatic way, what old-time poster here wanna to express is, before asking question maybe you should do some work (search). That question as been ask a thousand time probably, there is a lot of the same answer, change this for this and that for that but it's all written in the second sticky for pre-kara (http://www.failsafedesign.com/maintankadin/viewtopic.php?t=163). Go read it. compare with what you've got and after that if you got more specific questions come back and ask, then you may end up with a better answer.

Vanifae is one of those that provide a lot of good answer but he tend to get more grumpy lately probably do to the fact that he has allready provide the same answer time and time again over the same subject (I'm about to hit Kara, what should i upgrade/change), but for that he has all the right to do it.
