25man and 10man, she kicked our healers a few times. But other then that she was supremely healable. lol we targeted her last as a non-cc target since the damage was pretty lolable.

Re: [10/25] Faction Champions

Yesterday my guild 2-shotted em in 10 man. Our team was:
Resto Shaman
Holy Priest
Rogue
Warlock (w/ Felhunter)
Boomkin
Retri Paladin

We put our warrior tank interrupting the shaman while our dps focused in the priest with a rogue doing interrupts. I kept taunting the rogue (he isn't stunnable i think, cuz i tried a few times without success) with Hand of Reckoning and Righteous Defense (what was awesome, since when i used Righteous Defense i also attracted whoever was focusing the healers). Once Priest was down, they blown the shaman, then the rogue while i was stunlocking the Boomkin (Seal of Justice + imp. HoJ ftw). Our Holy Priest was aware of the mass dispells and the Mage was spellstealing anything he could use. We wipe on frist due to bad coordination on Pull, then on 2nd time i pulled it with AS silencing the two healers and the boomkin resulting in a fairly easy start.

Re: [10/25] Faction Champions

We had a bitch of a time with this last night in 10-man. We faced:
Priest healer, Shaman healer, Ret pally, Rogue, Boomkin, warlock.

We tried killing a healer first, but that took a surprising amount of time (even with MS on them), and the rogue and ret were eating people. We had the best luck when we:

- Put someone on the priest, prioritizing interrupts and CC.
- Killed the rogue first. MS helped a bit, it seems, but even with that it was quite hard. Perhaps not having 3 healers would have helped, but the damage intake was VERY high on our end, too.
- Fearing the warlock pet every chance I could get seemed to help.
- When the kill target is low, aoe fear to break healings on him.

Overall, it seemed very hard. It really made me want to have a Proximo-like tool for specially casting HoJ/Repentance on specific targets as they started healing.

Re: [10/25] Faction Champions

Finally downed it yesterday on 25m. We had:

Holy Priest, Resto Shaman, Tree Druid, Mage, Hunter, Rogue, Retadin, Warrior, Shadow Priest, DK

Kill order was:

Holy Priest -> Resto Shaman -> Shadow Priest -> Retadin -> Rogue -> Warrior -> Hunter -> DK -> Mage -> Tree

Our failed attempts were when we had 2 prot warrior on the 2 healers for lockdown and 1 person assigned to sheep/fear each melee target. So we only had 2 plate classes trying to protect the range people with taunts & slows, which always left either the retadin, warrior, or rogue to gimp a couple ccers and things go downhill. We switched our strategy after wiping about 5 times.

We had a lock on full lockdown on druid using banish/fear/shadowfury and a rogue locking down Shaman while priest was being killed. We assigned a sheep/fear target to each melee mobs, and also assigned a plate or tanking or feral druid class to each melee to taunt, slow, stun, grip etc. A resto druid in hit gear was focused entiring on cycloning SP and hunter and rooting any melee that are causing havoc as backup. We had an elemental shaman focus on mage to interrupt all sheeps, and enhance shaman purging all hots and Earthshield. After 3 tries, we downed the boss with everyone alive and a shaman using ankh once only. The biggest difference for us I think is having a tank on each melee mob and DPS to lockdown healers. First couple went down slow, but was very controlled and less havoc.

The resto druid also helped kill totems with moonfire. Helps a ton.

Re: [10/25] Faction Champions

Next time, throw your two prot warriors onto the rogue and another melee mob. Prot warriors can completely neuter them by using a disarm, stun stun stun, taunt taunt taunt rotation. Granted, you don't use your stuns and taunts in rapid succession -- you use them when the mob is getting near a target that they can actually hurt (a ranged/healer).

Re: [10/25] Faction Champions

Stacking druids massively trivializes this fight. the ability to put an uncleansable, unbreakable CC on like half the other team at a time is rediculously powerful. 3-4 druids doing nothing but spamming cyclone on everything makes it a complete and utter joke. I highly suspect we will utilize this on the hard mode version.

Re: [10/25] Faction Champions

mmm, I didn't find the faction champions that easy on 25 mode. We managed on 10 but failed on 25.
We tried to focus the druid or the priest first but it takes forever to kill them.
We had one for interuption on the holy pal and one on the priest while focusing the druid but it took really too much time.

How do you deal with them ? you split the raid into small groups and each has a different focus ?

Re: [10/25] Faction Champions

Usually it's more individual than that, but reading what others do it sounds like you can get more and more detailed about the assignments until you find whatever amount gets you the kill.

My guild just assigned a few people to specific things like "[mage], you keep the arms warrior busy", and "[rogue], keep interrupting the pally" with some sheeps thrown in (you can sap them too btw before the pull), a general "don't be stupid and die" to everyone, and then just call out what targets to kill. It's like a long slow trash pack so long as people are doing their parts.

I managed to die halfway through this week because the hunter decided to railgun me and I couldn't think of what to do - I did what I usually do when a hunters attacking me, FD to break target, then shadowmeld to break target, but he kept at it. I guess I should have just run out of his range. Does the hunter have a minimum range or a deadzone?
