Warning: Do NOT soft reset after Twins

If you soft reset before killing Anub'arak, the floor will respawn and there will be no way to rebreak it and continue working on Anub'arak.

This only happens if you actually engage Anub'arak, I believe. And they're working on a hotfix.

We actually had one of our priests stuck standing in front of anub after we'd made a couple of attempts prior to the server restart. She got stuck standing there (she was able to log onto other characters, but got immediately disconnected when trying to log back onto her priest) evne while offline. She was able to log on later but even now (this happened at last night's raid, AEST) the floor is there and there's no NPC to talk to. Hopefully it will be sorted for when our raid starts in 5-6 hours time, if not then I guess we're going straight to 25 heroic mode (given that our 10s have killed anubarak on normal and thats enough to satisfy criteria for 10/25man heroic).

Extremely disappointing that there wasn't even a patch and we still got stuck with such instability and serverside lag.

Got lucky and found out about this bug this lunchtime. I've notified other guildies and confirmed that we do have the bug, but now at least we've got a few hours to try to snag a GM to get that workaround in play for when we actually run tonight.

A hotfix has been deployed that will prevent the instance from entering a bugged state where Barrett does not spawn after a soft reset. If you haven't gotten to Anub'arak yet, you'll be fine now.

For those of you already afflicted with this bug in your saved raid, I'm still working on a method to correct the issue via hotfix for everyone so afflicted.

In the meantime, our customer service staff has been informed how they can resolve the bug for a raid with a bugged instance.

After several tickets our instance is finally reset and we can get to Anub'arak.

So it takes 45 minutes to get everyone back together, we talk to the man, he runs out the door ... and nothing.

Sigh.
