JoLight threat changes in 3.0.8?

New poster, new tankadin.

First, I'd like to thank the mods/frequent posters (PsiVen, Winchester, Knaughty, you know who you are) for the very explicit and detailed descriptions/theorycraft of Paladin Tanking.

Before I continue, I nees to state that I'm behind a really nasty firewall that block virtually every single source of information that I could pull from. How you guys are under the radar, I can't understand (but am thankful!)

Here's the meat:

I've seen many discussions about JoL having zero threat as of patch 3.0.8.
However, I haven't see any patch notes/undocumented changes that state this. I'm trying to find hard evidence to show another tankadin that we need to be using JoW(only one of us at a time, of course) and let our Retadin judge Light.

I've searched the forums for this, and I think the only place that has mentioned how to get the value that I've seen detailed looking in the threat api(I think it was Knaughty that stated this.) I have no idea how to get this info, besides hitting a training dummy with Omen on to see the differences, but I was hoping that someone already has numbers proving it, or some other reference I can check when I get home.

Most of the entries on google that I can see are all speculative, and of course because of the firewall from hell here, I can't read any of them(not even the cached entries.)

I'm just wondering why nothing about it was posted in the patch notes, even the undocumented changes that mmo-champion always seems to have listed.

Well the exact quote (if you can't read it behind your firewall) is pretty concise, the entire blue post is...

it was documented at some point, they just may not have outright stated it in the "released" patch notes...the patch notes tend to be a "best guess" at a compilation of changes, but they often leave out details here and there if it wasn't in there specifically.

Threat was removed from JoL heals - not the judgement damage induced WHILE judging light, but the extra "excess" threat induced by heals caused by people healing themselves with the judgement procs. direct your friend here if he is insistent on not believing you.

typically have a ret pally judge light, prot judge wisdom, and holy judge justice unless there are complications and/or not an even spread of pallys/specs.

I'm aware of how it SHOULD be done. It's thrown around quite a bit around here. It's more how do I get the other tankadin to listen to reason, which I know can be rough even when you aren't the FNG, or FNT as the case may be.

It's been removed.

I can safely keep RF on on Heigan and Saphiron now as OT.
