Consercration : needs rework?

If you cut the damage on Cons but then decrease the time per tick to 0.5 seconds, would that generate enough threat to pull them off the healers (or anyone for that matter)?

To be honest, it is a tough encounter, and we can say that warriors and DKs can do it better through a few of their moves.

Conseration just lacks the inital punch.

Considering how long it took to get a single target taunt... unlikely in this expansion.

We also need to remember that much of the tanking community (read warriors and druids) have been complaining about consecrate for ever and many of them still are. The fact is that given an average Pally v an average Warrior the Pally will easily be seen as better for aoe tanking. This is not nearly as clear cut if the warrior is really good and maximises his abilities (via spec/positioning/gear selection).

My opinion matches Elsies.

Like I said, I'm far from something like "amagad we are broken and
a useless tankingclass!".

I just say that our considered "niche" is the aoe tanking one.
Like other classes got alot powerfull things we can't provide, we
should be able to provide the best and stable aoe tanking.

And that needs ether a cons. rework or another ability.

About the other "sup3rPr0 tricks":

I wont start healing anything when i got an army of adds on me.
JoL thread will be removed - considered a bug
Lower Rank "shieldslam" will be removed- considered a bug Sad

And yes we can AOE tank like a Warrior, but
if we have to make a higher efort to hold mobgroups than
another (or let's say warriors AND DK's) Class there is something wrong for me.

I pretty much agree with Elsie on the Cons situation,

anorther major difference is that consecrate cannot crit.
Personally id love to see consecrate turning Wildgrowth like, Frontload fast threat and then reducing over time.
