What enchants are people goin with on come 3.0? im kinda prone to mongoose

Potency does not give 20 BV. 2 STR = 1 BV, 20 STR + 10% BoK + 15% DS = 25 STR -> 12.5 BV, 50 AP
Mongoose is a little better than it used to be, but it's still mediocre in my book. In fact, without Reckoning in your spec it's worse than it was before. I haven't run the numbers for it, but the choice should be rather clear as their functions don't overlap very much:
Potency is best for threat, Agility best for reliable avoidance, and Mongoose best for average damage reduction. Executioner is terrible, Spell Power is significantly worse than Potency.

the constant threat > average mitigation seems to work, since our base mit is (if they change shield of the templar) is going up, along with passive BV and with BoSanc.... the threat seems to be the "bigger" issue over survival.

Gonna roll with 20 str on my weapons, Mongoose was nice when I had it but it just didn't feel all that worth it and it is never up when you want it to be. Encounters these days are less and less tank and spank so you can't really average the effect and compare that way.
20 Str on Tempest of Chaos looks badass, and would on Muramasa if M'uru wasn't so lame!

Redoubt still does not affect BV from Strength as far as I know.

I'm tempted to use Crusader, "Just Because" at this point. I've never had a 'real' weapon enchant before (my Other 70 is a Druid), and my physical DPS actually matters now... I want a real procing enchant dammit! 
At least the materials for Potency are pretty mundane. No massive primal farmings or anything.
