Meh, I've not said it can't be great. I don't think duplicate tanking classes is optimal, and given the option, I'll always run groups with 2 different tanking classes in 10s, and 3 in 25s. My 10s OT is a DK, my primary OT in 25s is a warrior, with a feral as 3rd seat, and my DK OT as 4th.

Your 2nd tank might as well bring different buffs or abilities to the party, instead of a carbon copy of the first.

LIke I said before, maybe hes not seeing the threat trasfer and just wants you to take less damage. Or maybe he wants his taunt always available. And theres always the possibility he is greedy and just wants your threat.

I usualy put it on a mage/hunter/lock , but honestly thats only taking advantage of a portion of the buff. There are 3 different parts to the buff and the only way to take advantage of all 3 is to put it on another tank.

If your threat is miles ahead of everyone else, there shouldnt be a problem giving some of that to your warrior. Its kinda the same principal as a dps wanting Kings or might instead of salv (back when it was a blessing for 30% less threat). Ya, you do less dps, but your team will most likely benefit as a whole from this. You may not see this benefit directly, but it could very well save someones ass when it matters most.
