ItemRack / ClosetGnome / Outfitter

I'd like some feedback on which mod you use for your sets and why you like it.

I've been using ItemRack but it isn't being maintained.

Outfitter.

I just disable all the "around town" and "riding" outfits, and go to town.

I use ClosetGnome, and it's everything I could want from an item equipping mod. I have all my resist sets and different tanking sets in it, and all I do is right-click it on my FuBar and click Wear -> BlockValue, and it's on. Very easy to configure, and easy to use.

The banker part is the best, though. Just as easily as you click Wear -> BlockValue, you can talk to a banker, and click Store -> BlockValue, and Retrieve -> PvP Healer, and it's that easy. All your gear sets are cataloged for easy storage and retrieval.

It's also very easy to use. I haven't tried Outfitter, maybe it does all these things, but I'm very happy I have ClosetGnome.

I'm still using itemrack.

I haven't had any issue with it since the patch.

I've tried outfitter, it lasted a whole 3 mins before I decided I didn't like it. Trying closetgnome now, since its updated for 2.4.

But itemrack is the best. If closetgnome took whole sets out of the bank like itemrack, I might prefer it, but it doesn't. So I like itemrack for the ease of pulling a set out of the bank (and putting it back in)

I use outfitter and love it. Its easy as hell to use and works perfect aslong as you dont switch your gear out and accidently get in combat at the sametime, then you are screwed.

I use itemrack, and it does what I want it to do, and seems easy to configure. Never tried the others though.

I use itemrack for the trinket slots that you can have on the screen (easy to click on and swap independently of the rest of your set and to 'use' the trinket when you change trinkets a lot and still see the tooltip for the trinket).

I use ClosetGnome, and am happy enough with it that I don't feel the need to bother with trying Outfitter or Itemrack.

Things I like:

- easy to select outfits.
- shows clickable item links for anything it can't load. This is great for looking at quest rewards for healing upgrades (which are in my bank).
- easy to create a new set.
- queues armor changes until combat is over.

Things I dislike:

- I can't figure out how to DELETE a set, short of hand-editing the settings file (which is pretty easy, to be fair).
- I can't figure out how to make a "naked" set (for my hunter's FD/naked Wink).
- Upgrading an item with enchants or gems counts as a "new" item, and so I need to re-save my sets that might use it. This is not a big deal, as I re-gem/reenchant items very very rarely. Wink
- Has some issues with queueing multiple sets. If I'm in ret gear ("DPS"), and select "tanking", it swaps over my sword and board ... and if I leave it alone, it will put me in the rest of my tanking gear after I leave combat. However, if before combat ends I swap BACK to "DPS" (to get my 2H back, whatever), it still puts me in tanking gear (and sometimes with no weapon equipped). This happens so rarely, though, that Ireally am not all that bothered by it... and hitting the "DPS" or "Tanking" suit option a second time is easy enough once I'm out of combat.

I use itemrack.

It just seems to do the job. The only thing I dislike is how whenever I have my bank open, I end up having items inserted into random slots in my bank :-/

Aside from that, it does everything I want it to do. Fire res sets, aoe sets, boss sets, block value sets. w/e.

No issues had since the patch.

Oh Itemrack, I love you so.

I've been using outfitter for a while now and it's working properly for me.
Easy to configure itemsets (regemming/enchanting has no influence), keybinding gearsets, and haven't noticed the error Doktah mentiones Confused
